Employee retrieval

POST /v1/employees plus onboarding. Hire accepted in your ATS, employee created in Nory. Dry-run previews and idempotent retries.

Frequently asked questions
Does Nory have a public API?
Yes. The Nory API is Nory's public API, and it's live in production. Approved software partners and restaurant groups use it to connect their systems to Nory. Full documentation is in the API reference and developer guides.
What can I do with the Nory API today?
Read a brand's employees, locations, positions and departments. With write access, you can also create new employees in Nory from another system, such as an applicant tracking system.

Who is the Nory API for?
Two groups. Software companies whose products restaurants use alongside Nory, such as recruitment, HR and learning tools, and in time payroll and accounting tools. And restaurant groups' own tech teams, connecting Nory to their internal systems.
How do I get access?
Request access on this page and tell us which brand it's for and whether you need read or write access, as that decides the key we issue. We review every request, and once you're approved, Nory issues your API key. For some integrations, the restaurant can also connect you directly from their Nory account.
How is my data kept secure?
Every API key is scoped to a single brand, so it only ever sees that brand's data. Keys are read-only by default, write access is switched on per integration, and a revoked key stops working immediately.
Is the Nory API live?
Yes. The endpoints are live in production and used by real integrations. We call it Early Access because the API is still growing, so endpoints and fields may change. Wherever possible, we tell partners about breaking changes in advance.
